Acrylic Flow

Each of us can be our own worst enemy. This is a series of work that represents the will to create

in spite of adversity, a literal outpouring of creativity and emotion against anxiety and depression,

and the ultimate freeing of my own inner artist.

 

As I work, the paint rolls, sways, flows, gains momentum, and sometimes moves like a tidal wave across the canvas. Lines are created, patterns and shapes emerge, and sometimes hidden eyes and faces appear

and seem to peer through the painting at the viewer.
